NoteTracker does not filter hands

Postby hacacare » Mon Jul 09, 2012 7:01 pm

Hi,

I tried to set up some auto notes, but whenever I test them, I get between 0 and 2 hands, no matter on how many hands I run test. I play HUsngs.

Here is an example:

T/Edit

Name: Test Category: Preflop
Holdem (checked) Active(checked)
Text to insert as Note:
range {cardrange}

Filters:
Player - Position of active player of position of selected between 0 and 9
Opponent - None

When I run test on 1000 most recent hands, I get this:

Test Results for 'All Active Automatic Note Rules' ...
AutoNote: Hand #57590529-5: Player: Hero_name Note: range {cardrange:99}
AutoNote: Hand #57590529-5: Player: an_opponent_name Note: range {cardrange:87o}
Total time: 19ms Per Hand Avg: 19ms

This filter does note make much sense, I just tried if I can filter out more than a few hands, but it does not work. There must be more hands in 1000 where the position was between 0 and 9. The same happens if I just filter Att to steal, or anything.

Any ideas?

Thanks

All hands should in fact match that rule - positions are always between 0 and 9.

Could you please reproduce this and send us your PokerTracker4.log file so that we can look into what is going on here? Something is definitely not right.

You can find this file by clicking File --> Show User Data Folder in the main PT4 window. The file we need is the text file named PokerTracker4 that is in the directory that appears.

The more I look at your post the more it looks like you were in fact only running the test on one hand; otherwise the Total Time: 19ms Per Hand Avg: 19ms line would look different - the total time would be higher than the average time. Please make sure you have highlighted multiple hands in the Test window before clicking the Test button. Just having 1000 hands display isn't enough you need to highlight them using ctrl+a or shift/ctrl+clicking to highlight multiples.

Oh, I didn't know I had to select hands. After selecting hands it started working.

Thank you
