PT3 Costs vs. PT2 and PAHUD

ok so my plan was to come get Poker Tracker Holdem and PokerAce HUD. i saw that 100% of your purchases now will apply to the release of PokerTracker 3. I thought. thats great! So i read that PT3 would cost about the same as Poker Tracker Holdem. Poker Tracker 3 will come with a HUD display. So my question is: Will the cost of PT3 exceed that of PTH and PAHUD combined? or will I be losing money ( PT3 costs less then the 2 combined). if i choose to purchase. I doubt you have a set in stone cost. but just wonderin if its deffinantly going to be more or if its too close to tell.

PT3 will cost a few dollars more than PT2 + PAHud. Not much more though....

I am currently running v2.17.01g.
Any ideas how much it would eventually cost for me to upgrade to PT3? and can I make some trials with the download version without affecting the functionality of my existing v2?

You've quoted the answer to your own question - a few dollars more, that's what we've been told so far.
Also, if you look at the [url=http://www.pokertracker3.com/products/PT3/faq.php3k9]FAQ[/url3k9] there is a table of how much discount you get dependant on when you bought your copy of PT2/PAH.


You can certainly trial the beta of PT3 without affecting PT2 - just be aware if using both together that you should only have one of them moving processed files, and make sure you keep the hand history files in case you need to re-import in a future beta version.

I have just installed a yet "unlicenced" version of Pokertracker3. Reading FAQ it says you can run it besides v2, taking into account not to run the two at the same time and keeping the hand history if needed.

I'm a registered user of v2, but until now I did not know that the PT HUD existed.

1. Can I download and use HUD2 under PT2 under the same license as PT2? Or do I need to buy HUD2 seperately.
2. I presume PT3 is still Beta so I won't be able to "unlock" it yet but how long will I be able to use it? Untill the final release?

1. PA Hud is a separate purchase from PT2. If you own PA Hud, your purchase will go towards your PT3 discount.

2. PT3 isn't locked. It's a fully functional beta without restrictions (other than an expiration date). Once the commercial release is out, the beta version will no longer continue to work.
